Hurricanes Host Red Wings |

The Hurricanes are coming off a loss to the Kensington Vipers last Saturday night while the Red Wings are also coming off of a loss to the same Kensington Vipers last Sunday night. These two teams last met on October 5th in a close game which seen the Red Wings score twice on the power play to win 2-1. Defenseman Eric Locke is expected to make his return to the Hurricanes lineup after missing the first six games of the season to participate on the Hurricanes varsity golf team. Patrick Cummiskey has led the way offensively thus far for the Hurricanes, currently sitting in second place in league scoring with 12 points through six games played. In goal the Hurricanes have received exceptional goaltending from Matt Derry who has a 909 save percentage; best in the league for anyone who has played at least two games. Derry has started in four games for the Hurricanes thus far this season with a 3.30 goals against average.
