This Thursday at 8pm the 'Canes will host the Vipers at the Pownal Sports Centre before the two teams meet again Sunday evening at 7pm at the Kensington Community Gardens; these are the final two times these teams will meet this regular season.
In six meetings so far this season the Vipers lead the season series 4-1-1. Kensington enters Thursdays game winless in their last two games; they've recently dropped games to the Sherwood Falcons and the Western Red Wings to fall to 15-5-1 in 21 games.
The Junior Hurricanes are coming off of their annual holiday break where there last game was held on December 14th in Kensington where the Vipers used a big third period to win 6-2. They currently hold a record of 13-8-1 in 22 games played.
The Holland Hurricanes expect to have players returning to their lineup after missing games prior to the holiday break with injuries; Bryce Abraham and Nick MacDonald most notably will be welcome additions to the lineup for Head Coach Ryan Maxwell.
"It's nice to have a full lineup moving towards the playoffs; it's something weve not had all season long so we'll see what we can do as a team over the final ten games of our regular season", shared Maxwell.
