Vipers Win Fourth Consecutive League Title

Matt Stead scored the winner and Logan Reid stopped 24 shots for the win as the Kensington Moase Plumbing & Heating Vipers clinched the island championship with a 2-1 win over the Arsenault's Fish Mart Red Wings on Saturday night in Evangeline.

The Vipers swept the best-of-seven championship series.

Reid was named playoff MVP after posting an 8-0 record and a 2.20GAA in the playoffs.

The Championship victory is the Vipers' fourth in a row and eighth over the last ten years. They will move on to represent PEI at the Don Johnson Cup beginning April 23rd in Moncton.
